Fuel leak at tank module

Traced fuel leak to quick connect fitting on the feed line at the fuel tank module. It was a bear to remove the quick connect fitting because the tabs were on the top and the bottom. Not much space between the top of the module and the bottom of the connector. I used the end of an old narrow, flat tooth brush to wedge (not enough pressure to do any damage) under the connector against the tab to release it. Replaced the line with 3/8ths id diesel compatible fuel hose (Gates SAE 30R9) and an ABA Mini F hose clamp. I ran the new hose to my frame rail mounted LP. I did notice that my fuel pressure at cruise has gone from 13.5 to 14. Idle also went up .5 lbs. Fortunately I was able to do the work without dropping the tank. I did remove the fuel filler tube assembly to gain better access. Eventually I will replace the return line at the tank as well. I didn't have the time or energy this go around.

next time you mess with those quick connect fittings, try putting a zip tie around the tabs and pulling it tight. I did this when I dropped my tank to do my DrawStraw, and it worked like a charm, they came right out.
