fuel guage gone

fuel guage gone
I have a 00 24v and the other day my fuel guage quit working. I checked all the fuses and none were blown. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fuel level sender in the tank.
Very common problem with Dodge trucks, gasser and Diesel.
Can be gotten to by either dropping the tank (best if empty) or raising the bed (again, best if empty).
Just screw off the really big plastic thing with all the hoses on it.
