Fuel Gauge Failure
to the instrument cluster check first c if that clears things up...it did for me....hold in the trip odo button turn key to run but do not start hold it there until all the gauges go haywire....its a diagnostic self check..
From my past experiences, it is the float level sensor in the tank. I have had three go bad. It costs around $65.00 from the dealer. Either drop tank or lift the bed. Will be a good time to install a draw straw at the same time!!!! I actually have mine dropped right now. part will be here today. By the way, when taking the wires out of the connector (for the sensor), DO NOT PULL THEM OUT!!!! use the tool or whaterver it is to take them out correctly or you will be buying a whole new fuel tank module $400.00. Can't buy the little electrical connector by itself.
