Fuel Filter Change?

Unplug the necessary connections, I think there is only one that I can think of(the water/fuel sensor). Drain a little bit of fuel of of the canister so you don't spill any when you take it off. Then begin to loosen the nut in the middle of the canister. This will stay on top of the lid, but allow the canister to drop down. Once fully loosened, then you just bring it out and change the filter.
Once you have the new filter in(should still be diesel in there, if not, put some in) and rub a bit of diesel fuel around the o-ring. Then put it all back together, making sure that the old o-ring came off with it when removing, and that everything is tight and sealed when all put back together. Hope this helps

Yep...very easy to change....one bolt & one plug. After the filter is installed just get in the truck & bump the starter. You will hear the fuel pump run....when it stops running bump it again. You will have no problems with airlock using this procedure.
