Keep your foot out of the skinny pedal.
Good luck.
Keep your tires properly inflated. Again, don't smash the go fast pedal any more than needs to be. Drive the speed limit or under. Good luck with that one too.
My EZ box added a wee bit of mpg, although not too much, maybe .5 to 1 mpg. The $450 or so sure does take a long time to catch up with the mpg fuel savings though. Unless you dress it out by taking out the rear seats, passenger seat, spare tire, hell, take out the bed while you're at it, you'll be doing okay.
I get around 20 to 21 doing 80% highway driving 50 miles to work and back 5 days a week and the normal putzing around town. That's pretty awesome for a 7000# plus truck.

Well it just depends on how much you want to spend. A mild box (edge ez) and some mild injectors (275's) should help some, if you keep that right foot off of the floor. But I'm guessing blind here.....please fill in your signature so we can give you some more definate answers.

That was pretty funny.
Keep your foot out of it and drive the speed limit or below.
You'll get good mileage. I have an Edge box and RV275's and have not seen any difference in mileage. It's all about the go pedel.

Ditto
Agree with CM. Have never seen one mpg gain on any mod I added! Many claim they have. I believe them but... I have not.
Good news is never lost any either.
Suspect how fast you drive is 95% of the answer but I always seem to have too much fun to test the theory!

PS: Just read your profile; you could try some roman candles or rockets out the rear end to reduce fuel consumption.

That's funny BigBlue, I usually fillup at a station just off the interstate. There is a long entrance ramp and I like to let it unwind after filling up. It seems like it costs about 1 mpg for this. It reminds me of the dog after she takes a dump in the neighbors yard....she always runs around like h..l for a minute of so.
I guess the feeling is similar

Lay off the "Git Sum" pedal and you will see the mileage go up. Jackrabbit starts tend to eat up most of your fuel.
I usually get 17 - 18 mpg without being too careful but yesterday I drove 120 miles and managed to coax 22.9 out of her by driving 55 and under.
If you have the auto tranny, keep the bands adjusted. If you are slipping, you are wasteing fuel.

Between the Scotty II, straight pipe, EZ, and 275 injectors, I picked up a couple of mpg. Now let me get this straight, you mean you can drive a whole tank and not floor it? I have never managed that

i'm having some of the same problems with fuel ecom. 1999 chiped i'm only getting 13-14-mpg. Part of my problem is short dist drives. only 5 miles to work. i was hoping to do better with mpg after chipping it but now its to easy and fun to put peddle to carpet. longer trips i've reached 17-18 mpg.
