Front end replacement bumper

Well, it all started as a simple headlight replacement job. and things went down hill from there. The wife bought me some of the Angel eye projector beam lights for Christmas and I weather was finally warm enough to give it a go. Tried to remove the stock lights only to find the abused stock bumper in the way (here is where it goes down hill). The only thing to do is remove the bumper. I knew the previous owner had "BUMPED" into something because the front bumper has more waves in ti than a Miss America pagent. In the process of removing the bumper I began to realize just how bad this thing was and knew it was never going back on. EVERY bracket was bent, there was coat hangers holding things together, it was amazing!!!

So now I am without a bumper and have been pricing them. My wish list is a the front end replacement style. The stock bumper has cutouts in it but the heavy duty bumpers I have been looking at have all been solid across the front. My question is..... will this loss of "some" airflow cause overheating problems during the summer months?? Has anyone installed a frontend replacement? Any good experiences?? Bad?? any prefered manufacturers??

Thanks in advance for the help!
