front replacement bumper

well in addition to my lift, Im also finally getting around to replacing my front bumper. (I refuse to pay 300 for a new piece of plastic from dodge )

anywho, I was looking for some recomendations from yall. Ive already ruled out Ranchhand and Reunel, great lookin bumpers but no way could I afford one.

Ive been giving serious consideration to a Buckstop, but Im just wondering about some other options.

Anyone out there have a supercraft bumper????

http://www.supercraftinc.com/

price looks pretty good but they dont have any installed pics

Thanks guys
Jeff

Jeff, I just reread your post and unfortunately, the DOR bumper that phox, me, and a few other guys have is in the price range of a Ruenel. If nothing is wrong with your stock bumper, I'd keep it on if you're not looking to spend $$$$. There might be a couple brands out there in the 700-800 range, but offhand I can't remember their names (your link to Supercraft didn't work for me). BTW, the beauty of the DOR bumper (along with physical) is that's it's aluminum, and doesn't weigh the front end down like a steel Reunel. It is however very strong, and the maker claims you could hang the truck safely from it.

Thanks for all the replys guys.

Commatoze, I think I fixed the link, should work now.

As much as Id like to wait till I can afford a DOR or Reunel, Ive been waiting for about a year . Last winter I had a little incident with a guardrail that messed up the drivers side of my front bumper. Its not all that noticeable till you get pretty close but it still drives me crazy . I could fix it but the dealer wants 300 and even ebay wants about 200 minimum. Id rather just put the money towards a better one.

I noticed another one, "Ruffstock", as I was searching around the net last night. Unfortunately I cant a website or pics. Anyone heard of them? Supposed to be almost a Ranchhand clone?

Thanks again guys
Jeff

Better get some fueling mods when you add one of those 1000 lbs anchors to the front of your truck

Take 3, in Brenham Texas builds one like the ranchand. I believe you can get them for about $625.00.
Sorry, I don't have a number for them at the moment.
