Front Drive Shaft U-Joints

I am contemplating on replacing the three u-joints on the front drive shaft.

Besides the problems in getting the old ones out, is there anything that I should be aware of?

clean the holes really good before putting the new ones in, this will save a lot of headache too.

they are heavier then u will expect, be ready for this and support the axle before pulling the hub or u will deform the axle tube seals. when inserting the axles go slow and dont force them in, have patience or u will screw the seals up like i did......this job will take u 4-6 hrs.
