exhaust systems

I searched the forums but found nothing on exhaust systems. Mine is toast, rotted off behind the muffler. So I want to replace with Stainless 4 or 5". I really dont have the time to do it myself and have a pretty good guy to put it on.
What do you guys recommend? I will eventually go with a performance fuel pump system, but at this time running stock injectors, Fass DDRP. No Chip, dont plan on having one.
Should I bother with a 5" or is 4 ok if i am not trying to hop up the truck?
thanks...gary

MBRP 4" turbo back should be all you need and pretty reasonable prices.

FWIW I cut my old system out with a sawzall and had the new one installed in about 40 minutes.

I helped a buddy put on a 5" from the turbo back on his 05' and it only took us a couple hours. He did most of the work as I have vowed not to work on anybody else's stuff ever again. He crawled under truck, I handed him components, helped up top fitting up the down pipe, painted the components with bbq black rattle cans as he requested. Find a buddy like me and you both could have it knocked out in a saturday afternoon before the wife gets home and finds out you spent over $500 on an exhaust......like we did!!

I think his was MBRP as well, but not 100% sure about that.

My brandy new 4" turbo back MBRP is sitting on the living room floor right now - yes dear - I'll move it tomorrow! Too frickin' cold here to work on the Beast right now. Can't wait to get it installed - will keep ya posted on how it all progresses.

Cheers!

Mike
