Excessive Smoke

I've been having a lot of smoke lately. I'm getting large amounts thru all 6 gears. Obviously the worst is 1,2,3 and 4 but I can also get a lot in 5th and6th just to a lesser degree. The turbo seems very lagging till almost 2k rpm. I'm currently running rv275 injectors and a smarty. The smoke is prevalent across all programming levels. Even on the fuel economy. I'm leaning towards my turbo being worn out. But I'm looking for any help with this. It's killing my mpg!!

I'm leaning towards a bad intake boot. The one at the drivers side bottom of the intercooloer is prone to getting cut by the body sheet metal.....

check all your boots and clamps before kicking the cash out for a turbo.

By the way, what color smoke are you seeing?

You can check your turbo for sideplay by pulling the intake elbow at the inlet and wiggling the centershaft and see how much play is in it. Make sure the engine is cool when you do this...

Ive checked for side play and it is very tight.

The smoke is black. I can get huge clouds of smoke if I really floor it.

The turbo can have a slight amount and be fine.

Black smoke comes from unburned fuel, more than normal or requested....

Injectors/injection pump.....

Any codes?

I'm running an SO pump but it has never smoked this bad in the 4+ years. I also have RV275 injectors and a smarty on level 5. But it will smoke on any of the levels and seems to get worse on the lower settings.
