Impact wrenches are hell on wrong bolts. I recall someone replacing a water pump with longer bolt. Crushed right through cylinder wall and locked piston in place. Talk about a expensiver water pump. You may get lucky on damage.

Sorry guys, i acyually just got the motor out yesterday and im taking the head off today, so ill let you know later.

Guys on CF are saying i might need a new piston, i sure hope not.

Ok, so the damage is damaged piston, and valve seat. but it looks like the valve itself is ok. the piece ended up in the #6 cylinder.

YES! dont buy banks, and dont over tighten a hair to much on the intake manifold. its fragile.

Also how does the cylinder look? Can you just get by with changing the piston and valves?

the head is fine. and the only things i will need to replace are, the #6 piston, intake valve, and the valve retainer.

As for the banks product, the manifold bolts were very unprofessional for a big name company. they were just long double side studs with a lock nut on the top. Probly from Home depot. But i cant call this on banks because i got the part from a member on CF.

Don't be foolish and not replace all valves on affected cyl.
