Does anyone know where to buy JUST the 110v electrical cord for the block heater? Mine has a broken wire right before the piece that plugs into the heater making it almost, impossible to splice.
I can buy the complete setup for the block heater, but my heater element works fine and they are about $50/60 of the cost, so why buy what I don't need.
And, no I haven't checked with the local dealer. I don't like dealers and their outrageous markup. I'd rather buy online and pay shipping.

Nope. It's broken where the cord is joined with the molded plug.

Any Cummins dealer or service shop will have them too. Just don't buy one from Dodge, you'll pay more for the same part.

That happened to mine! I had to replace it. Get the 5.9 school bus version. Goes in a different location and is more wattage.

 

Got mine at the local Cummins dealer for $16.
