electrical plugs

i did a quick search to try to find out what they were but nothing comes up, i hope i'm not repeating stuff but here goes. I have two electrical connectors on my kicker panel above the pedals. one on the right above the gas pedal looks pretty factory with all the wiring in the back taped up, but it just struck me as kinda wierd to have a factory connector so exposed. The other one is above the brake pedal and it's got two yellow wires goign into the firewall and 3 others that lead nowhere, i can't get the cover off the connector so i can't even see the pin configuration. i'm guessing the one on the right is factory, and the one in the middle is a fueling box connector??? anybody have ideas?
Re:electrical plugs

One is the OBDII connector (Dodge computer diagnosis thingy) the other sounds like a trailer brake controller connection.

phox
