Has anyone used this?
I see it advertised here but can't find anyone who has actually installed one.
I'm not looking for a big performance boost so 35 hp and 7% more mpg sounds good.
I'm wondering how tough to install and how true to the claims they actually are in RW situations.

 

I've got it installed, noticed a "slight" increase in fuel economy (no where close to 7%, but I am harder on the gas now too). The biggest difference was in power and how nice the truck ran after. Easy install. Worth the $250.00??? I would say so, especially if you have a stock tranny.

 

Go with the edge juice. I got it on my truck and you got more then just 1 setting. But you better get some guages if you do.

 

I have been studying boxes to buy. I want some hp plus mileage wouldn.t hurt. I looked at Bully, Edge, Godzilla. Which one is more pratical and better for the dollar spent? The monitor sytem would be nice but not neccesary.

 

AS far as i can tell my truck is totally stock.

 

I think the edge with attitude is a good thing. Wish I would have went with it instead of just the juice. I wanted theold school triple pod instead of the monitor. With the juice I am getting around 22 to 24 mpg if I keep my foot out of it. Thats with the setting down on 3 out of 5. Then when you want to smoke them imports just pust turn it up to 5 and watch the smoke boil

 

I am not overly familiar with the attitude but it seems to me the quadzilla chip would end up being cheaper in the long run. You can get the max mileage for $250, then for something like $150 later down the road you can get it reprogrammed with more power levels. Or just buy the box straight up with the max mileage feature and the higher power levels, I think it ends up being a little cheaper.

I like quadzilla personally, their customer service is bar none the best of any aftermarket company I've EVER dealt with, including edge who never replied to an email of mine asking a few questions. Additionally everything I've purchased from quadzilla has been very good quality, I love the commander unit! I still haven't mustered up the extra cash to get a chip but when I do I'll be going with quadzilla.

 

Quad for sure my 98.5 was mid to upper 18's b4 and low 22's after and that is hand calc'd too. Cheaper too and can be upgraded via computer too.

 

Before i would spend the money on a edge milagemax i would put a fuel pressure guage in first the most important thing to have on a 24v.

 

Another thing you could do is go with the edge with attitude moniter so you have all the guages just dont tap the pump. Then it would be the same at the edge ez.
