Will a ecm from a 99 automatic work in my 99 manual truck?

 

Probablly, but not sure. Some can be reflashed to correct at dealership, if guy is sharp enough. May have some fault codes show up.

 

My cousin is service manager at Tri-star Dodge, reflash is no problem.

 

C'mon guys, someone has to know.

 

I think it is just the software that is different. So a reflash with the correct software should do it. You might try contacting Bob Wagner on here and see if he knows. He has done a fair amount of ecm finagaling with the catcher ecms and now the smarty programmers.

 

Already did that yesterday. Bob is hooking me up with a reflash. Thanks
