There were performance ECM's before the Smarty came out. Use to have to replace the ECM to get Smarty results.

I don't know of any good place for a ECM replacement. They need to be programed to your Viin Number. Suspect only a dealer can do that.

There is a place in Florida where I bgt a replacement PCM for my 98 Jeep Wrangler. The could program it to my Vin number. Don't know if they do CTD's or not?
