do any of you know where i can get a reman ecm , some one who is reputable mopar has one for $1438 i think thats just a bit out of line!

I and many others have had no problems with them however some have had some issues with them. I think mine was 499 and did not have to take it in to get it flashed by the dealer. You might also try getting a hold of Bob Wagner (he is the Smarty Distributor. He used to be able to get used ecms for a decent price.

There is a company out of Florida that will fix your or sell one for alot less than anyone else that we have found. We sent ours to him yesterday. Give me a couple of hours to find the number and website.

I think they also rebuild ones that you send in, but on their site they list cummins ecm for 695.00 which is quite a bit cheaper than what you were quoted through a dealership.
