Easiest Front Shock Replacement Procedure????

I can't find a front shock replacement procedure. Could someone tell me the easiest method or give a link.

Remove both lower bolts. Right side remove air cleaner or tubes as needed. Remove the 3 bolts from the top shock bracket remove the shock and bracket and swap the shock and reinstall. On the left side things are tight. Remove the top nut first and then remove the top shock bracket 3 bolts and remove the bracket and then the shock. Reverse the operation to reassemble. Like i said tight on the top but everything does come out. Install the lower bolts.

Sounds easy!! I thought the front end had to be jacked off the ground . Thanks

I bought Monroe Gas magnums, I hope I like them.

Depending on the width of the bottom of the shock you may have some problems. With my Bilsteins I had to either spread the bottom shackle or sand the paint off of the shocks where it slips into the shackle.

will this work on the late 2nd gens with all the ABS crap located on the drivers side inner fender? looks way too tight to get a shock out from the top

Thats how i did mine and it has ABS....

I did mine as described above and it is a bit tight on the driver side but not really a problem
