dodge warranty

dodge warranty

have a 2000 dodge diesel and my vp44 pump has died. 93600 miles is it covered under warranty?

Some warranties were 7 Yr./100K warranty, sorry to say I believe this didn't start till 2002.

I could be wrong, but I think your truck was only covered by a 5 yr./100K.

Instead of playing the warranty guessing game you need to go to a dealer and have the vin run and they can tell you if you have any warranty.

00 is 5/100. Warranty starts at the "in service date" (date it was sold). You are on your dime.

Either aren't going to be cheap.
Do you have a local Cummins dealer? If so I would give them a call and see if they are interested, it may be cheaper than the Dodge dealer.
You can save 2-3 hundred bucks buying the pump yourself, that is for sure.
