Do I need FP guage?

I have been reading all I can about lift pumps and fuel pressure guages but I am still not really clear on one thing. I am running a 1999 24V . The only thing I have done is straight pipe and going to a BHAF. Do I still need to install a FP guage or is that mostly for serious mods?

I think you will find that just about everyone will agree that it would be a good idea to put in a FP gauge if nothing else. It could save you a bundle down the road when you run out of warranty and the lift pump dies taking the injection pump with it.

In my eyes, and I am sure in others too, the answer would be 'Yes'. Kinda like, "Do I need to change my engine oil?"

Yes

IMO, its almost as important as pyrometer(assuming your modded).

If your unmodded, its more important.

If you have a 12 valve or an 03+, then you its no were near as important.
