Do 2001 and 2002 models have 5 speed ?
Do the '01 and '02 models have 5 speed transmissions or do they have only 6 speed. ?
How about 2002 only ? Did it came only with 6 speed ?

nope, 5speed with a standerd output motor (235 hp), and a 6 speed with the highout put (245hp)

I proudly own an 01 3500 with a 5 speed...

A buddy of mine has an 03 2500 with a 5 speed to...I believe it was 04 when they did away with the 5 speeds completely...But I might be wrong...

dad has a 02 SO with a 5 speed, and I have a 02 HO with a 6speed.

Yes, the 5 speed was available through the 2003 trucks.
And like those guys mentioned on 01-02's, a 5spd would be with a 235hp motor, and the 6spd would be with a 245hp motor.
