Although I can't help with a mechanic in the So Cal area what are the problems with the leak? Most on here are "do it your selfers" If your willing and able we'll walk you through just about anything on your CDT.

Sorry it's not much help.

I just got out from underneath the truck & it look's like it has a aftermarket fuel system. It's leaking from a green fitting that go's into the top of the tank. Any ideas what it could be?

Ok you just got the truck so do you know if your fuel pump, LP, is in the tank or engine mounted, frame mounted. When you Bump the starter (start to crank but don't let the engine fire) listen where do you hear the pump.

Let us know that.

Edit

So the aftermarket fuel system is it frame mounted? Could be a return line leaking, the hose goes back into the top of the tank?

I'm not familiar with a Green fitting on top of the fuel tank but if you look at your fuel pump and plumbing, do you have hard line from the fuel tank into a rubber hose to the lp frame mounted? After the lp is there a return line back into the tank? Just trying to figure out what lp you have, holly, walbro, FASS, Carter etc.

Is it the supply line (should be a hard line from the tank to lp) that's leaking? If not and it's your return line a hose clamp just might fix you problem.

Let us know.

There is a rubber groumet around the fittng. The fitting looks like a filter when I started to pull it out it has no wires going to it and has a 1inch ruber connected to it I cant see where the hose go's to it disapears between the the tank and frame.

Edit

It look's like the rubber groumet is ripped and worn out I think I found the problem now I need to fine a new groumet

So your leak is at the frame where the fitting is or ontop of the tank?

Saw your edit. Hope you get it fixed and saved you some Bombing money
