Diesel fuel conditioners?

I have been hearing about folks using diesel fuel conditioners? is their a prefered schedule to run it? I have never since buying my truck 18k miles ago?

any recommendations on brands?

I use Power Service, every fill up. I use it for a lubricity additive and anti-gell.

anti gell

hello from socal,

will be driving to dallas next week and returning after the new year. i did get a bottle of power service anti gell and am wondering at what outside tempature i should put the stuff into my fuel tank. it may not get cold enough during this trip but want to have it should i need it.

I run Lucas and am pleased with it. I did see an increase in mpg and I calculated it out and it did actually pay for itself, like it says on the bottle. All of this happened pre-install of mach 1.5's, so right now, there's no way that bottle is paying for itself.
