Derate at 1900 rpm
Hey guys my truck started acting up out of nowhere runs and drives great till hit 1900 rpm engine kicks out then comes back in around 1600 rpm pulled p1689 and p0234 thinking that the 1689 is from when my injection pump went out about a month ago

01 2500 auto trans new fass lp and scheid ip recently been doing great till this morning ran out of fuel at 3/8 tank filled up and fired back up no problem. On way home from work doing 60mph with cruise set rpm hit 1900 and felt like trans kicked to neutral and rpm dropped then everything picked back up a second later when rpm come down would an over boost fault cause this has stock turbo nothing done to it

You need to clear the 1689 code and see if it comes back.
Scheid is a great place, but even they will have a lemon every now and then.
Did you install the pump or did Scheid? I would imagine they cleared any codes if they did the install.

What lift pump do you have?
Factory type on the engine, after market on the frame rail or Chryslers u-date in the tank?
Have you checked the fuel pressure at the VP ?

Did this problem start since you installed the lift pump? or after?
Sounds like you may be short of fuel volume, if you step down a gear when on the road, what happens?
Do you have a fuel gauge or pressure light in the cab?

My advice is trust nothing, "something is broke". New and old parts fail.
Good chance it is either fuel delivery or or VP. You need to monitor the fuel pressure to know. My Air Dog has a fuel pressure light on it, most here recommend installing a fuel pressure gauge, or you can connect a temporary fuel pressure gauge on the side of the VP.
Give the "drop to another gear while driving" a try and see what happens, if you are short of fuel volume it will show up quickly, also look at Blue Chip Diesel website, they have a good diagnostic page, I have called them and they were very happy to assist me over the phone.

I'm not against a fuel delivery issue but the fault is to sudden to be fuel related and I've never had a fuel issue at a certain rpm the truck runs strong till hits 1900 rpm in od then shudders hard once drops rpm and picks back up on the way in to work thus morning had zero issues at any speed at any rpm

Ok latest code pulled was lost comunication between ecm and fuel pump this code has only come up once I hooked scanner up to it was looking at sensors noticed my map sensor was showing 200kpa(30psi) with engine off and at idle only went up to about 230kpa at 2400rpm in park I'm thinking bad sensor pulled out and cleaned but wasn't dirty and no corrosion
