power dropping at 1900 RPM

I have a 2004 2500. Engine starts fine idles fine but when engine is warm and running above 1700-2100 the engine begins to run rough and act like it is missing. Has anyone run across this problem. I am running stock and am terrified of the dealership mechanic. So I am also looking for a honest mechanic in or around denver Co. Thanks for your help!!

First, check for any codes that may have been thrown.

Second, replace the fuel filter and the air filter.

Thirdly, if still acting up, get your LP checked.
