Dead VP but no code?

Dead VP but no code?
My truck decided to die last night 
At least it died in the driveway!
I'm not getting any codes. The VP is getting fuel at 12 psi but when I crack the injectors nothing is coming out. Has anyone ever had a VP fail so hard it won't push fuel at all? I'm not sure what to do at this point. Any suggestions?
Batteries are dead from so much cranking, I'll let them charge for a few hours and see what happens.
