dads cruise control on his truck is very sluggish. it works but not until you take your foot off the skinny pedal and have lost a considerable amount of speed then it slowly engages and eventually you climb to the speed you set it at. this can take the better part of a mile to happen. we have checked vacuum lines and the servo itself didn't see any rust or corrosion inside of it. curious if this could be an APPS issue. anyone run into this issue before?

Check and clean all grounds. Confirm the two vac lines down by the trans are connected. I'd also confirm good connections at the cruise control unit. Any codes present?
