My cruise is acting funny. When ever i push set it will not set to speed it wont do anything at all. the only way that it works sometimes is when i turn the cruise on and hold and push the resume excel button and that only works half of the time sometimes it wont do anything. thanks for anyones help in advance. mario

 

Two common problems are the clock spring and a vacuum leak.

Check the actuator under the drivers side battery, battery acid often leaks down and causes problems, either corrodes the contacts, or eats the vacuum line.

Clock spring is a bear to diagnose and fix.
