Cranks longer before starting ?

I bought a 2001, 50,000 actual miles, for months it started with one revolution, recently it takes 9-10 revolutions, or I crank it 5-8 revol, stop, then again 2 or 3 times, until it starts. Once it starts it still runs great, so is the heat grid my problem ? or do I need a LIFT pump,?
thanks

Probably not heater grid as it will fire then die if the air is too cold. Most likely fuel related. Fuel is leaking back to the tank somewhere. Try bumping your starter to let the lift pump run - then start. If that works your lift pump may be okay (you do have a gauge right??) - then start looking for leaks in the fuel system that is letting it bleed pressure during down time.

I would try parking it nose down, that way rear end of the truck is sitting higher than front end. If that solves issue it means you have a leak in fuel system somewhere and it's losing it's prime.
