Cracked Yoke...

I've been hearing a little bit of u-joint noise when I shift gears so I crawled under my truck to check out the u-joint on my rear end and discovered my yoke is cracked. I'm wondering if anybody can confirm if the pinion has shims or a crush sleeve? If it's shimmed I may buy the big socket and try the repair myself. Any suggestions?

Also, I'm surprised that the yoke is cracked because I don't do burn outs or drive my truck hard.

The pinion preload is by shims. So you can replace the yoke and seal.

Thanks, looks like I might do this repair myself.
