Cracked block with the "53" on the passenger side

I thought I post to see if anyone is out there with a cracked block that has the "53" on the passenger side of the block. After my last post it seems no one spoke up that knew about one. If you have first hand knowledge of a cracked block with the "53" on the passenger side could you please post it here. Thanks.

My buddy was all set to by a 2000 4x4 CTD Club Cab long bed, Laramie SLT Plus with EVERY option ever available on these trucks...with 27,000 miles, on the road for $21,346, but he passed on the great deal because of the 53 block problem

Sorry I don't think I would buy a 53 block for $21K... I might cost that to put in a really BOMBed engine! (We are talking with all the toyz!)

He made a wise decision.
I didn't care about my 53 block, until it cracked.
