Couple Block issues. Advice would be very helpful.
I would think a decent machine shop could build a fixture and transfer the hole to old block.
Say start with a tube that fit the crank sensor hole. Get another tube(pipe) that fit over that tube. Build a bracket located on oil pan holes. Weld second tube to bracket that has been extended upward. Use bracket and 2nd tube as fixture on 12v block and drill appropiate hole. Some precision required.
Will the 24v crank fit a 12v? Look and measure before you jump. Are there additional variations in the blocks? Definitelly Yes!! So look and measure ten more times. Any luck finding a 24v bare block????

Alright guys i talked to a very reputable diesel performance shop yesterday and they said the 24v crank wont fit in a 12v block. SO... what do i have to do with electronics to make everything work properly with a 12v engine?
