Probably not, but it would be a good and cheap start to fix it and reset the codes and see if they come back.

Warm water and baking soda with a toothbrush does a pretty good job....

Lot of people use the replacement ends. They work but are considered a band-aid. I would use oem type on my truck, I hate walking.

Those codes are not very promising. What kind of fuel pressure are you seeing?

Please tell me you have gauges if you are running that Smarty in your sig.

Ok first off you need too get a gauge on the truck too see what you are running as far as fuel pressures go. But seeing the 216 code is not a good sign usually a death code fro your injector pump but not always. Here is a few shots of how I set my 01 up for my fuel gauge. Don't bother with a isolator they will give you headaches after headache just run the line too the cab and cover any spots that might rub with wire loom sheaths. The reason I mounted mine low was I figured if there was ever a leak it would fill up the floor mat vs filling my whole dash full of fuel.

This is were I put my line on its the test port on the vp-44/injection pump

Second my gauge is mounted right directly in front of the 4x4 shifter out of sight and out of mind.

Tell Eric or who ever you deal with there that would would like solid mount end not the swivel end on the hose. 6ft of hose will reach beautiful too were I have mine mounted.
