I replaced the torque conv with a tci unit this weekend as well as replaced the filter and pan gasket got it back together and the trans shifts fine but the conv will not lock up I checked the pid with my snapon scanner and the tcc selonoid is commanded on but no dice I also did the selonoid test with the engine off and can hear the selonoid click is the conv junk???? I replaced the conv because tci claims better fuel economy everthing worked fine before

is the trany full of fluid ? checked in N engine running and after slowely shifting to all gears slowely !

does it feel like the rpms are any lower than befor / less slipage ?

what fluid did you use ?

do a preasure test with a gage !

 

Trans is full used atf+4 didn't change anything other then the conv and filter /fluid
