Who has the best rep for buying vp44's---I know BlueChip has seling points, but they are 1600 big ones. I see many for 1000.00 or so, but are these good rebuilts with the new computers and everything??

Several good ones. Blue Chip, Midwest Fuel Inj, Industrial Injection. Yes, you'll see cheaper ones out there. But just like anything else, you get what you pay for.

 

I have just ordered mine from Pensacola diesel. I will post my experience with the company here once I receive the part, but when I called on the phone they were nice and sounded knowledgeable. Their price was $100 less than mwfi, they said they are an authorized Bosch facility. They are on ebay too, but have a toll free number you can call.

Well if that's tha case Daimler Chrysler has a IP for sale for 2500.00... Must be the best Huh??? a rose by any other name...

 

The dealer I went to was selling for $3k for a SO and $2k for a HO and when I asked him if that was installed he gave me a stupid look and said no . He said that he needed the VIN to properly match the pump to the truck. I said no thank you and jetted out.
