alright guys need so advice, on my way home tonite from the firehouse my cruise would not work so when i got home i pulled the 0123 and 1597 codes. i kno what they are and seem to point towards apps but my question is it did it a year ago and i got the dead pedal ONE time but then went away and tonite i didnt even get dead pedal so should i just let it ride or what?? thanks for your help guys...

 

you could need a throttle position sensor arould 560.00 from dealer i here there is a after market one some one sells here on this web (dtr) for about hafe the cost there easy to replace i found out about the after market one after i purchace mine from the dealer maybe someone elce can give you more information on the aftermarket tps

 

Yea I looked into timbo1 apps but if some thought It mite have just been a fluke thing since I did not get dead pedal then I mite just ride it out but I don't want to take a chance of going thru an intersection and it dies and I become SOL

 

it could be your vehicle speed sensor it located on your trans (driverside) its easy to replace and fairly inexpencive it controls your cruse control i change mine now my truck shifts better . timbo 1 is the apps i was thinking about ive read its a good apps you might need a little trans oil if you change out your vss and a little packet of nonconductive grease good luck
