I don't think it works on a '99 To add a sig its under the user profile, just add in what you have like other members do

The P500 is from pulling the ABS fuse out and driving it....lol I think we all know what that does...

You can also get it from spinning a tire or two,
or from disconnecting the speed sensor.

well its all done. I went in last fri and the dealer changed the VP44 and LP under warrenty, took about half a day. The dealer here gets a kick back of $1G from cummins to return the VP44 to get re-cored so the million doller question is, are these pumps that are changed under warrenty new ??
My LP is now 15psi @ idle not great my last pump was 16-17 so its only time that my LP is gonna die again

so i got 100K, 2 LP and 1 VP44 changed....doesn't look good for when the warrenty goes

As far as I know, there is no such thing as a "new" VP44 anymore.

All are remanufactured.

Mine, which was replaced almost 2 years ago was a reman.

15 psi is ok...

Mine's at 12 idle, 8 WOT with an LED switch to tell me if it's below 5. Anything below 5 is time to change but even 5 WOT is plenty.

so basiclly if I have to replace the next VP I'm dishing out $3G cdn for a reman ?? thats not good

i'm hoping if anything happens to these 2 pumps it does in the next 50k or I'll need a 3rd job to pay for repairs

i'm just not happy with the reading, the last pump seamed stronger, but I'll wait & see

ya well here we go again my fuel pressure dropped this morning to 7psi while I was cruzin at 100K on the highway and idle was 10psi so here goes my 3rd LP this time in 1month what gives. Theres no code yet so I'll have to wait about a week so when I go to DC the pressure will be steady @ 7psi ..oh BTW my rig only has 110K 40K untill warrenty is done
