would like to buy a scanner to keep in truck 99 24v whats the best one under $200

 

I picked up an actron from pep boys, then found a scangauge. I like the ability of the scangauge because it is more than just a scanner. It has gauges and other information. It is really just preference. Look them up on google and both are under your limit.

 

Check on ebay and see if you can find one for your year truck.

I have a 2002 and mine calls for a 9135. Make sure you get one that is a OBD2.

The connection under the dash pretty well determines which one you need to buy. Don't buy one for a Honda!!

I have a scangauge hooked up in my truck and love the thing. I found it on ebay for about $150 and think it was worth every penny cause it also can be used as another set of gauges as well.
