code 1693 ????
fuel ressure goes up to 16psi while bumping the key. engine will not start. code 1693. is it the vp pump

1693 is a companion code, means there is another code in the pcm or ecm. You'll need a reader to find it. Wally world or autozone has them fairly cheap, plus you'll be the envy of your friends...
