clutch petal pressure

This evening when driving my buddies 01 with a 5spd, clutch lost pressure, sometimes i get a little back but not enough for the clutch to work. Limped it home just shifting no clutch so i know the clutch holds. Did the slave go out or what else could have happened. Thanks

I just had mine go out. You typically have an internal failure where the o-ring isn’t able to seal and you may never see a loss of fluid....Much like the hydraulics on a tractor where the boom will slowly fall over a given period of time. I noticed a very small amount of fluid on the firewall indicating a master failure.

Anyways, I definitely recommend doing the whole system (Dodge or SB) verse changing a piece (NAPA). I changed the whole system in less than an hour. Do it before your seal totally breaks.

They are replaced as an assembly. Pretty easy job really. Fairly cheap too. Last one I priced was like 75 bucks IIRC.
