clearence between converter and flex plate...

Has anyone ever had to use a spacer to merry the tranny and engine together? My converter wont spin when the bell housing bolts are on....

got them both married, special thanks to that one guy that called me from Illinois.

now somehow my coolant lines arnt matching up, both is size and location...

No problem man, sorry I didn't identify myself, I was worried you were going to break the trans..... Believe me, I have done it exactly once, the snap that you never forget.

Let us know what the deal is with the lines though, so far as I know, Chrysler hasn't changed that location or size since the original Aluminum Torqueflite came out.

Just for grins, do you mean at the case or at the fitting? If you removed the fittings from your original trans, would they be correct? I do know there is an updated fitting/line set.

thats just it, im not sure... i do know (NOW) that i for got to take off the fitting that screws into the tranny, but that is at a friends house, and he is gone right now. but ill find out tomorrow and post what i find out.

from what i see, it looks like i need two adapters(for the cooling lines) and two plugs...

this is my first tranny, so ive deffinetly learned ALOT!!!! like always double check your work!
