Whats the best way to go about this..? What do you watch out for when you pressure wash the engine.. the turbo, and electrical stuff right? Thanks.

I've had good luck with Simple Green and a garden hose. Once the engine is cooled off, coat the whole engine with the s.g. and then rinse off with the garden hose. If you want a new engine shine something like 303 Aerospace Protectant afterwards works great

simple green is the only thing to use. Don't use greased lighting or anything else like it. It will oxidize aluminum like crazy causing all kinds of nasty white streaks.

I used some citrus cleaner stuff and I sprayed it on, waited 5 minutes, and hosed off years worth of baked on mud and oil. It was great.

I use a pressure washer and use a light setting. Simple Green is good stuff, but it will corrode aluminum also. It is a definite Do Not Use on aircraft or aluminum boats where there are seams. Rinse very well.
