How to clean road salt from the engine bay
Man, It's starting early this year. Last week, we had some serious freezing rain and the state trucks dumped massive amounts of salt and calcium chloride on the Massachusetts Turnpike. I never had this problem before with other vehicles. Maybe it's the big snout on the Ram, I'm not sure, but road spray got inside the engine bay and all over everything. From the intercooler back to the fire wall insulation is coated in a crusty white salty grime. What's the best way to remove it? Should I just turn a spray of water on everything to rinse it off?

-Tom-

Yeah, but I cover my alternator with plastic, and go easy on the elec stuff. You need to get those winter fronts on to keep this from happening my friend.

Where can I get some of those?

-SFB
[/quote]

You coming up before June next year? I doubt the need for a winter front up here where you plan on living. Now, if you plan on being a pass runner (skier) you might need one. Plenty of resources in this area for those. Can we say NWBombers? Work on getting above 110 mph, then you can show us
