Ok pulling out the sensor to replace and I cannot get this sensor out everything is disconnected I can twist the sensor but it will not come out. Please lend any suggestions! Every post says gently turn and pull and nothings happening the sensor will not budge. I can get it to rotate freely thats it.

Thanks Doug

Keep working it. There is an o-ring that seals the sensor into the hole. You are probably getting the sensor to turn while the o-ring stays stuck. Take a look at the replacement & you'll see. Perhaps a small pry bar to gently pull it out. You want to pull it straight out. DO NOT get mad & break the sensor.

Those crank sensors are a bear. What happens is the gunk and rust get behind the o-ring and you can't pull it out. I'll fight the whole way. I wound up breaking alot of the plastic off of mine the first time I did it. Used a pair of vise grips to grab a hold of it and pull and twist to get it out, plus a small wonder bar I have. Once I got it out I used a small scrapper to clean out the hole a little bit, lubed the new one up with grease and put it in.

I have hear of guys having to thread a screw into them to get them out once the break it off flush.

And yes, like Junk Man said, Don't get mad and break it off. Take a break if you get frustrated with it.
