I was comming home form work today and looked down and the yellow light from hell was on...Its the first time for me( cince i owned it) Everything seems to work fine...IS there a way to trun the key on an off or do i have to get ripped off from a dealer? Its a 99 24v, auto with 300,000 kms!!!!

 

Parts stores have a reader to read codes. Key on, off, on, off, and on will show codes on odometer for some. 2000 and later I believe. Try it anyway.

 

I've never tried it, but I heard on here Auto Zone or Advance will pull the codes free if they have a code reader or you can buy your own for less than a $100 at Wal-mart or the above parts stores. The inexpensive code readers will pull and reset the computer, but won't give you the meaning of the code, but that is easily found on this site. Takes a 10 second search.
