charging problem

I have a 1999 2500 and i am having charging problems. I need to know what to check for voltage. The alternator and computer have been replaces but i still show only battery voltage at the posts when engine is running and nothing at the alternator post. Any help would be great.

You should have 14.5 volts at the alt. with the engine running. It's the pcm that regulates the alt voltage and controls it.I assume the computer you mention is the pcm?.All I can think of is something must be not hooked up right or at all?.You should have the same volts at the alt as the battery if not then a loose or broken wire?.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Just pay a alternator shop to test wiring.
