Changing Front shocks

Changing Front shocks

Hi, could someone tell me the best way to change the front shocks? (and the easiest) Thanks gang....

remove the little (tri pod) they bolt to and move it to the side take the shocks right out the top thorugh the hood opening. Its actually real easy just did mine. Good luck

Just did mine 2 days ago, and as previously stated, remove the top towers and they pull right out through the engine compartment. A trick I learned from searching on here was to jack the front axle up as far as you could and place two jack stands on the frame, then slowly lower the axle so the shock is fully extended. Made change out a breeze. PB Blaster on the fastner hardware helped also.
