Carter to Airtex issues
Carter to Airtex issues
- Feels good -
Well,
My new (3 week old) LP (carter) dropped down to 5psi, so I took it off and they gave me a airtex instead! I was happy, but after installing it I am getting a large amount of air in the fuel. I think I have it tracked down to the quick connect on the supply side. I can't think of where else it could come from. So, my plan is to replace the quick connect with regular diesel rated fuel line & a few hose clamps. I have over 1/2 tank and I know it's 1/2 full. I know I'm getting air because I loosened the feed to the VP44 and bumped the starter and got TONS of bubbles for 4-5 cycles, it never got better
So, anyone else ever had this problem?
