car dealer question

I bought the truck in my avatar 4 days ago and now i think the LP or IP is going out, going to go talk to him tomarrow and see if he will fix it, me and my dad has bought many from him before known him a while so do you think he will fix it or try to stick me with the bill?

If he does stick me is there no law against that type of stuff?

Depends on the paperwork you signed. If you bought it as is, then that's what you got. If he gave you a warranty, you need to read it to see what it covers.

The law will be printed on what you both agreed to and signed.

They will probaly try and stick you with the bill, but keep arguing with them and they might cut you a deal.

Depends on the state laws and the dealer. I don't know of any lemon laws that apply to used vehicles. There are lemon laws that apply to new vehicles and there is a specific process that needs followed in order for any remedy even then.

As far as the used dealership. That likely depends entirely on the dealer. The fuel pump or injection pump is most likely not covered under any "warranty". Those usually only apply to the drivetrain unless you have some kind of extended warranty and you'd know if you did. Those are usually purchased through a 3rd party.
