Can you put back the same silencer on your turbo That you have taken out

Can you put back the same silencer on your turbo That you have taken out
I just want to know if I take out my turbo silencer on my 1999 dodge 2500 5 speed and I don't like it can I put the same one back into the turbo

You might decide to leave it in there, there is the school of thought that the design helps the flow of air to be smoother thus increasing the efficiency of the turbo.....
